Welcome to Secret Aura!

Hi,

My name is Davina, I am a natural intuitive and clairvoyant.

Join Secret Aura Newsletter (turn speakers on and click)

I am a registered hypnotherapist and specialized in past life regression therapy. Although I have strong beliefs in the existence of the human spirit I remain firmly grounded and retain my realistic and common sense approach to life. I have a long background in business and am a very practical and logical person.

For some time I worked with some of the latest aura technology and was amazed at what could be seen and interpreted from the energy within and around us. I personally saw visible signs of healing by many different methods. (Although the technology is a great advantage, it is not necessary to see and feel your own aura and that of others; In my newsletters I will explain to you how this can be done by just about anyone.)

I seem to have a natural affinity with color and have been asked many questions about the aura and the information it contains. The first time I exhibited at a Mind Body Spirit show I was asked to share my knowledge with a psychic college! At that time I was not in a place to do that but now things are different and I am!

A lot of the information I would like to share with you is more detailed and intensive than I can include here as I can seriously prattle on and on about the colors and secrets held within the aura. It is an intriguing subject and there is ALWAYS more to learn, appreciate and understand, it truly is an evolving topic.

I welcome your questions and comments and look forward to hearing from you.

Root Chakras

The Root or Base Chakra is often misunderstood or ‘passed over’ by some people who seem to mistakenly think that it’s lower position and its relationship to the physical body somehow makes it a less important energy center than the Higher Chakras.

In this short video I cover just some of the important and interesting attributes of this powerful Chakra Center. I share my thoughts, opinions as well as the sorts of things I have seen when reading the chakras and auras for people.

Root Chakra Grounding

This very informal video clip very briefly outlines how you can simply and effectively ‘ground’ your Root Chakra energy.  Personally I incorporate balancing and cleansing too but hopefully this will inspire you to get outside and try it!

Chakra Colors

The Chakra colors are more than just simple colors they each have significant meaning and relevance to us on many levels.

This is a short video that outlines just some of the things that can be interpreted from the seven main chakras.

How Green is Your Heart Chakra?

The Heart Chakra Color: Green

Green is the color we associate with the Heart Chakra.

Whilst reading Auras for people, the Heart Chakra was one of the areas that seemed to be out of balance most often. We often say something tugs at our 'heartstrings' - it is an area that can reveal our vulnerable nature.

The Chakra Color Green is associated with:

• The great outdoors, nature itself and as such it signifies the natural cycle and rhythm of life. We interpret this in several ways: it relates to how we deal with the changes that naturally occur in our life. The changes that affect our physical bodies as well as how we feel about the people and events around us that naturally mature and evolve.

• Balance and perspective are very relevant to the color green too. The Heart Chakra is seen as the bridge between the upper and lower Chakras . Green itself is found midway in the color spectrum. This midway position denotes balance and in most areas of life balance is key.

• Green is often referred to as a healing color, it is also a color of growth and expansion. Because of its' association to Mother Nature it is of course organic and wholesome too. People who have green in their aura often make good, loyal friends, they tend to speak from the heart and have a loving, compassionate nature. Teachers or people who share their knowledge and passionate interests with people often show green in the aura too. The love of their subject comes across in the way they speak and convey their message.

• An imbalance in the shade of green can denote emotions such as jealousy or envy, the color almost seems to 'harden' which of course signifies what is happening to the energy of the heart itself

• Sometimes dark shades of green within the Heart Chakra area may show the person feels trapped or constrained in some way: not much of their daily life seems to be particularly fulfilling or joyous.

• Occasionally the energy around the Heart Chakra seems to be exploding outwards - to me that can signal giving out a lot of love and caring but not a lot may be coming back for the person themselves. Many of us prefer to give rather than receive but as I mentioned before - balance in all things!

• People with green in the Aura can often be very sociable in their character and like texture and the feel of things to be right. Happiness is important to them and they surround themselves with the people and things that make them happy. They also tend to enjoy a good standard of living, enjoying life and they can be quite focused at achieving their goals.

As you can see it is not enough to just say that the Heart Chakra color is green. Light, dark, dim or patchy shades all mean slightly different things when you 'read' that color and relate it to the individual.

This is how we can start to use color to promote healing - when you know the meanings of the color and the energy, you can aim to change or improve that color, bringing it back to balance and harmony.

Manipura or Third Chakra: The Solar Plexus

The Third Chakra is a real Powerhouse. It encompasses many things such as:

  • Your ability to set and maintain boundaries.
  • Your sense of Clarity, Focus & Concentration.
  • Control & Anger issues – not just your own – but if you were around someone else who was particularly controlling or aggressive then you may have an Imbalance in the Chakra energy here.
  • Digestive problems – it’s all about what you ‘can or can’t stomach’!
  • Your sense of humor and overall outlook on life.

This links very much with your intuitive energy too – for it relates directly to your gut reactions and instincts – it’s where you will get a lot of ‘vibes’. Your stomach may be reacting – even if your conscious mind is not.

Svadistana:Second Chakra: Sacral Chakra

Chakras are amazingly diverse & meaningful energy centers.  They hold a huge amount of information for us on many levels; physically, emotionally, mentally and spiritually. Here is a simple outline of some of the more traditional associations with the Sacral Chakra.

Alternative Name:    2nd Chakra,  Spleen or Splenic Chakra Svadistana.
The name can be translated as meaning 'sweetness'. I like to use the word pleasure. It’s about our desires, pleasures, the things we like and dislike, what we draw close to us and that which we push away.

Color:             Orange is the color associated with the Sacral Chakra.

Symbol;         A lotus flower with six red petals. The element associated with the 2nd Chakra is water - and one of the most common properties with this Chakra is the ability to flow.  The association with water connects to your emotions.  Emotional energy needs to flow - it is thought that blockages in your emotional energy can go have a great impact on your physical body too.

Mantra;         Vam

Animal;         The crocodile represents the Sacral Chakra. When we think about the associations this has, we can see that the crocodile moves excellently in water, it may be hidden under the surface but then it can leap out with great power and strength – at any time!. Again this can be compared to your emotional energy, at times things may ripple under the surface and at others they may just erupt!

Location;         The Sacral Chakra rests in the lower belly region, below the navel.  It also affects the lower back/ buttock region.

Physical Associations;    The endocrine glands associated with this Chakra are the ovaries and testes. The organs of the body affected are the internal reproductive organs as well as the bowel and uterus.  As it involves your reproductive organs the Sacral Chakra is obviously linked with your fertility but not just on the physical level it is also about your creative ability in other areas of your life too.

The root chakra

The Root Chakra: The Traditional Basic Attributes

As with all of the Chakras, the Root Chakra has alternative names and numerous associations and attributes. The deeper you delve into the realm of energy, the more information you uncover. Here I outline some of the most common attributes you will come across;

  •  Alternative names; The Base Chakra, The 1st Chakra, Muladhara.

The word Muladhara means 'root place' - it is easier to think of perhaps as 'foundation'.

  • Significant Color; Red

Red is often associated with things of a vital or dynamic nature - such as blood, danger, love, sex and passion.

  • Symbol;

4 crimson red lotus petals with a yellow square at the center.

The yellow square indicates Earth, with the 4 petals said to signify the 4 compass directions.

The 4 lotus petals are also said to have direct implications to our experience of life in human form. It is hard to explain without getting too complicated but very briefly it is about;

How secure we feel about our foundation and stability in the world.

How we feel and experience our purpose in life.

How we deal with our desires and needs.

How effective we are at aligning with our true authentic self - how we deal with the ego and 'skin' we can often lose ourselves in.

  • Mantra; The mantra for the Root Chakra is Lam.
  • The animal associated with the 1st Chakra is an elephant - with seven trunks. Again the implication is of solidness, stability.
  • ·Location; The Root Chakra sits at the base of the spine. It is often shown as an energy spiral pointing downwards to the earth.
  • Physical Associations; The Base Chakra is connected to the external sexual organs, often with the adrenal glands - specifically our fight or flight responses. Also it is linked to our legs and feet, the spine and hips. I usually take it further and find it has implications for our entire skeletal frame as I believe it is about how we stand in this world - not just physically but on many levels. I'll take this further in future posts though!

Chakra Balancing Meditation: Muladhara Chakra

After charging your own hands with that light, I guide you to open, cleanse and balance each Chakra - to a level that is perfectly right - just for you.

This clip is for the Base/ Root Chakra - the full version is well over 20 minutes long.

Please watch this and enjoy! Your comments are always welcome.

What are Chakras ?

Chakra is an ancient term that we continue to use today.  The most widely accepted translation of that term you will find today is wheel – not just because they are usually given the circular shape of the wheel.  It is more to do with the description of the motion of the wheel – turning round and round.

The ancient mystics regarded the energy within and around the body and noticed that where one or more streams of energy met, they would naturally converge and begin to spin around, hence the term.  Although there are more ,it became generally accepted that there were Seven Major Chakra points to the human body.

These main Seven Chakras are found along the entire length of the spine.  Starting at the very bottom of the spine is the Base Chakra, next comes the Sacral Chakra – below the navel. Then there is the Solar Plexus – slightly above the navel.

Naturally, the Heart Chakra is located in the region of the heart and it is no surprise that the Throat Chakra is found in the throat.

Then we come to the Chakras of the head; The Third Eye is in the area of the forehead and the Crown Chakra rests right at the top of the skull.

These energy centers do not just face forwards, affecting the front of your body, they are 3 dimensional and affect the entire region around them. This is easiest to imagine with the Throat Chakra – it affects not just the throat area but the neck too.

I see them as like miniature suns – they radiate energy out all the way round not just in any one direction. Actually they are so much more than that – they don’t just radiate energy outwards – they attract and absorb it in too.

You may not be able to see them with your eyes but you can become much more aware and conscious of them.  I firmly believe it is an advantage to be more aware of your Chakras and their energy.  They have links with just about every area of our lives and can reveal some very useful and important information about us.

Although the term ‘Chakra’  is thousands of years old, it doesn’t mean that it holds no relevance for you and I today.  In the fairly recent past it has been found that each of the main seven Chakras ‘happens’ to coincide with a major nerve plexus of the body. Each one is also associated to its’ own specific endocrine gland.

I have found some of the most profound readings I have had the privilege to be part of have incorporated not just the spiritual essence related to the chakra but the more human, down to earth stuff.  The ‘stuff’ I talk of is the more human side, how our energy is affected by our emotions and how that can reveal itself physically. There are often conscious and subconscious streams of information waiting to be revealed.
