Our auras are forever regulating and taking in energy as well as giving it out, so they are fluid, constantly changing.  However we do tend to have core colors which display certain characteristics, just as we have certain parts of our personality that are more apparent than others.

Her, I outline just a few of the more postive attributes that you would expect to find.

Some may say these people are not grounded or “live with the fairies!” existing in their own fantasy land. That is an extreme and is usually if the person is out of balance, disconnected from their physical reality.

Violet may denote the person is very active psychically, working regularly with their psychic mind.

Violet people often want to heal or help everyone, they want us all to live in harmony and peace.

Some of them, if they are aligned with their true personality and so wish it, can manifest great wealth and abundance, especially if their greater aim is to help many people not just themselves.

They can be great inspirers and motivators of people, leading by example.

Music tends to play a very large part in their life, they are actively enhanced by the vibrations.

Although many are attracted to these people, they themselves have few real friends, they often find idle chit chat a pointless exercise and so may appear a little anti social. It is just that their interest is not captivated in the mundane, everyday issues of life. Their horizons are far broader and deeper…

There is energy in our thoughts, words and deeds. Choose the higher energy and it chooses you.

When we get to grips that we and everything else in this universe is made up of energy, we can see how everything does have an affect, how we are all connected, yet each one unique at the same time.

Sometimes we talk of energy as a vibration as that can be easier to understand, everything has its own unique frequency it resonates at. Every person, every animal, every thought, every word and every color all have their own unique frequency (And it certainly doesn’t stop there!).

This is how we can interpret colors and give them meanings, we are talking about the vibration and the things that connect with that vibration.

When I read for someone face to face, everything speaks to me, it may be different things for each person, and the ones that are most relevant are the ones we mention and discuss.

Think about the language we use, how we can feel inspired by inspirational people, whether they are professional motivators or ‘normal’ folk with a good or kind word. Then think about how intimidated or threatened we can feel when confronted by a person who uses foul language and insults.

The language is mirrored in the body language. Inspirational people are much more openly expressive and you want to be around them, they smile naturally and genuinely. Argumentative or abusive people act more aggressively and threateningly, you want to get as far away from them as possible.

We can ascribe colors to words – infact we do it all the time – sunshine yellow, black Monday, blue language, green fingered, white dove of peace. We are unconsciously matching situations or events with a color that on some level we equate with that vibration.

That goes someway to showing how things are connected, especially when we view the world as an energetic place, we interpret the information we are presented with, in a way that can be hard to explain but is a bit like osmosis – we drink it in on many levels and try to convey it back in a way that can be heard and understood.

Like energy attracts like energy, which is the underlying theme behind us creating our own experiences, attracting our own abundance or lack. Not just consciously but more often than no subconsciously.

Before you speak today and react to conversations and situations just stop and think first, what do you want to attract, the high stuff or the low stuff?

Green with envy – the green eyed monster!

It is the color we naturally associate with the countryside. “Green fingered” describing someone good at gardening, cultivating and growing things.

In spiritual circles it is often seen as a healing color.

This color does indeed relate to mother nature, and all of the wonder and beauty that brings, the need to grow, being part of the natural order of things, the cycle of life.

It relates to the Heart Chakra, so it is about loving and nurturing, taking care of people and things. People with green in their aura tend to be good, loyal, nature loving souls.

There are different shades of green but generally green in the aura can suggest someone  who likes fine things and has high expectations or standards, not just of themselves but of others too.

Balance is the key to all things and out of balance a green personality may be very resistant to change and can become very controlling in an attempt to keep things as they are. Or they may have a tendency to “lose heart” in the world around them and become very listless and passive.

Often it denotes a good, honest communicator, someone who believes in what they have to say, such as teachers, priests, business people who have a passion for their field, even hobbyists who delight in talking about the love of their subject.

Red hot !– we know when things burn, they often glow red

Red for danger! – Stop signs are red. Warning signs are red.

Sexy Red! – Red light districts/ red lingerie

Red for love! – valentines hearts

There is substance to all of these associations they are not simple throw away descriptions but nor are they complete. When working with the aura colors we look at them deeper and link them to our different states of being – mind, body and spirit.

Red is a vital color; it signifies us at our basic survival instinctual level;

it is the color of our blood, our heart, it runs through our veins, keeping us alive. Any threat to survival and it will fight to the end. Thus it also has an association to anger and heat - “he is very hot – headed!” …”she has a fiery temper!”

But red in the aura does not necessarily mean you are highly sexed and very angry!!!

It more than likely signifies a dynamic, energetic person, with plenty of charisma, an attitude to get things done and achieve great goals. A passion for life.

Also if the red is lacking in lustre it may well signify, you are low on energy, lacking in motivation and focus.

The three aspects of us, The Mind, The Body and The Spirit are all very delicately but very precisely linked. We truly do need balance, to consistently ignore any one will have a compensatory affect on the others.

The aura does reflect this, as do the chakras.

What I have noticed in my readings is that, people may read that statement above and can comprehend it but they only really UNDERSTAND it, if I can relate back to them what I see, in a way that fits their daily life and experiences.

Only then does it truly become alive and real to them.

Just yesterday, I was reading for a businessman, I picked up that his throat chakra was slightly low in energy; this could indicate he might be suffering from a sore throat or,as the chakra goes right through to the back, it may mean there was a problem with his neck.

He was shocked that I had picked that up, as the day before he had been aware of having slightly strained his neck and it felt “knotty inside”.

This was not outwardly visible at all (he was not wearing a neck brace or even showing discomfort!)

That was just the physical level, if I went deeper, I would look at why that tension was there, did that link to an emotional issue.

(The throat chakra is linked with communication, so sometimes a low energy would indicate there was possibly an issue over something said or even not yet said! All at the same time I often get a sense as to whether that relates to a past or present event, sometimes even the other person involved.)

If I had simply said Oh your throat chakra is low in energy, that would have meant very little to him, but when we talked about the actual issue and how it was affecting him. This lead on to discussing how his thoughts and emotions have HUGE impact on his experiences; then he began to see a much bigger picture.

It truly did open a doorway.

We live in a world full of energy, in one form or another and once you become consciously aware of your own energy and that of others (as well as the environment around you), you can make conscious choices not to be affected by the stuff that drained you in the past and to invite more of what you Do want into your daily life.

Love, Relationships, Career Success, Wealth, Health and Abundance all have their own unique energies or frequencies.

It is not a quick fix, but a process of realizations and understanding, simply explained and doable by just about anyone. it is not something to be rushed, it is a whole load of experiences to be enjoyed!

Knowing we have an aura, in and of itself doesn’t do that much BUT IT OPENS A DOORWAY TO SEEING THE WORLD IN A WHOLE NEW LIGHT.

A WORLD OF OPPORTUNITY AND POSSIBILITIES.

The seven chakra colors and very basic attributes are as follows;

This really is a very simplistic overview, as each one delves so much deeper not only into its links with the physical body itself but also the tendrils that splay out into the other layers of the aura, affecting the mental, emotional and spiritual aspects of ourselves. What will start to become clear to you is that everything is somehow connected and affects us on many levels. These basic seven colors are also the main colors we deal with when describing the aura although they are by no means exclusive, but for simplicity’s sake I will keep to those for now.

If you have been fortunate enough to experience some spiritual healing of one form or another, you may well have heard your therapist talking about chakras and attempting to bring balance back to them. As they are opening and closing constantly bringing in and letting go, there is great potential for blockages or imbalance, it is my belief that if we can bring balance back to the mind and emotions then the body can get on with the process of healing, so much better.

We are all perfectly capable of bringing balance back to ourselves a lot of the time, especially as we become more aware of our own true nature and make up. We simply need to incorporate some simple measures into our daily life but as with most things we often overlook the simple things and deem then unnecessary or unimportant. For example spending more time outside, taking time to just sit and be quiet, still the mind, relax or use simple meditation techniques. You would be amazed how such simple things can very positively affect your aura and the chakras and ultimately your physical well being too.

There are a great many but we will concentrate on the accepted main seven.

These are, starting from the base of the spine, up to the top of the head;

• The Base Chakra
• The Sacral Chakra
• The Solar Plexus Chakra
• The Heart Chakra
• The Throat Chakra
• The Third Eye Chakra
• The Crown Chakra

These energy centres are often depicted or described as spinning discs or as being funnels that open and shut, taking in and letting out energy, whether that be on a mental, emotional, spiritual or even physical level.

It is clear then that the chakras must affect the aura as they let energy out and the aura affects the chakras as it is from there, they draw energy in.

So the environment we find ourselves in, is very important. you can no doubt relate to feeling differently when you are sitting in the park or outside, to when you are in a city, surrounded by noise and chaos.

Each of the chakras has a much deeper meaning and significance independently and also as part of the whole aura and body systems.

We relate colors to each of theses chakras, which parallels the colors we use to describe and interpret the aura, although there are a lot more and a great many variations  within that too!

We know the physical body is made up of many components, muscles, nerves, bones, hormones etc, etc and so it is with the aura, in a way. But its’ component parts although not so readily visible, can certainly be felt and hopefully, understood. Some of these are our emotions, our thoughts our beliefs, as well as our hopes and fears.

Also, although it is easier to depict the aura in a diagram, as being outside of the body it actually includes it, is part of it, for that is where the energy is coming from! Think about it, if you feel frightened, the feelings are not outside of you resonating in thin air, you feel them, in your heart racing, maybe your stomach churning, they are very, very real. You cannot touch them but your experience undeniably proves they exist. Someone else observing your fear would see it reflected in your body language and anyone sensitive to auras would pick it up from the energy around you. You most probably can recall being around someone that for no obvious reason made you feel uncomfortable, that is, put simply, your aura sensing theirs.
We can all sense auras and the more you start to become aware of them and the energy around us, the more you start to appreciate the world in which we live and our own part in it.
