The Meaning of Colors; Blue

As usual, we have very common everyday associations with this color;

  • True Blue – denoting a truthful, honest element.
  • Royal Blue – a refined nature, a liking for fine things, or things to be just so.
  • Feeling Blue – feeling sadness or depression.

These are all appropriate in their way but are only surface observations. When working with the aura and anything spiritual or psychic we always look on many levels and can go much deeper. When dealing with color, things are never so black and white! There are millions of shades but as you become attuned to the vibrations, it’s almost like they speak to you and the relevant parts come up to be discussed and show themselves.

Blue in the aura can be a color of healing, it also usually denotes someone who cares for others for a large part of their day; whether that be elderly parents, children or nursing in general.

These people tend to be givers. One of their greatest challenges tends to be not to give too much! They tend to think that looking after their own needs is a selfish act, rather than a totally necessary and natural one.

The blue personality likes people being around enjoying family life and is usually an active participant in trying to get the family together at celebrations and functions.

Out of balance, the blue could denote the person has withdrawn or is experiencing some form of bullying, as their quiet nature tends to comply with the stronger wishes, wants and needs of those around them. This would be further indicated in the relevant chakras.
