The Meaning of Colors; Indigo

There is a great deal of information about the “indigo personality” and much of that can be related back to the aura, if that is the Core color of the individual. By that I mean the color or frequency they resonate at, for the greater part of the day.

We definitely go through periods of our life of great change and what was the case a few weeks or months ago, may well not be so now.

By and large though, indigo in the aura would suggest a spiritually aware soul, or someone who has great faith and belief, irrespective of whether that is in a particular religion or in themselves.

These people tend to have a solid inner knowing, a very strong intuition, which if in balance they listen to. Indigos can be out of balance too and suffer some of the more negative side affects of that!

They tend to be very sensitive individuals, not just in sentiment but also physically, they often sense the energies around them very well. They are very perceptive.

As they have a strong sense of “higher” things they may not always conform to what society or authority wants them to. For example, as children at school they may have been hard to teach and keep captivated, in the conventional way. This is because their knowingness comes to them on many levels, through many channels and to direct it mainly to left brain schooling would easily bore them. They would deem it an almost pointless exercise.

There is also an innocence to these people, they are usually very aware that everything and everyone is connected and so find it really quite difficult to digest some of the nasty ways people can deal with each other and the environment they live in. This often causes them to question whether they “fit in” with the world around them, so they may often feel that they don’t truly belong.
